Official iS Paintball Outing!

hmm....should I take a pic of my welts? Had to go into the snake to pull someone out....while 2 guys did a run-through and puts 4 in my back and head from 2 feet!

Dynasty was absolutely the most impressive I have ever seen them. They threw 2 games on sat to make sure 2 other teams got enough points to keep the Ironmen out. Ironmen ONLY had to make the quarters to win series title....they got dead last. Dynasty had to get top 3 and Ironmen out in order to take the title. Pro Finals.... Dynasty murdered the Bushwackers. Both games lasted 4 minutes total.

Bert, my contact is an owner of one of the pro teams, wont say which one, but they are local....it takes him approx 1-1.5 wks to get anything from Eclipse (E wherehouse is located back east), unless he has something on him. Also, have contacts from Hundredth Monkey and Blackstar.

Came away from tourney with a free NXE harness, BS gloves, BS headbands, BS wristbands, 2 cases of Dynasty paint, and about 12 pods that I stole from the pro's. Could have gotten more free stuff.....but I'm not that greedy:biggrin:

and I've told some buddies....and they are willing to play with us next month too.....should get us to 5 v 5

So Dynasty takes another title! I think they are about the most organized and dedicated pro team out there.

Sounds good for next month! It will either be the 13th or 20th.

And that's with losing Ollie Lang( best player in pball history ) to Ironmen last year, losing Brian Cole to retirement this year.....oh and they lost Rodney Squires(who is argueably the best back man in pball next to Mike Paxson and Richard Telford) a couple years ago to create Dynasty Entourage. ....just awesome their rebuilding talent!

No other team has won the series title besides Dynasty since 2001! The year Dynasty was created.....CRAZY

I guess then they picked the right name for the team =).

Lots of local talent here in socal. Could be why Cal has the most pro teams.

man i wish watching PB on tv. not sure if it is still on now or i just cant find it, but it was fun watching all those teams battle. always enjoyed dynasty, xsv, and some other team that had these two brothers. something-dogs, maybe?

Naughty-dogs?

Foxsports has a 30min PB show everyday at 4:30 here in socal. But most of the major PB events are on webcast like PSP Worldcup a nonth ago.

Knuth brothers....Rocky and Raymond....play for the Portland Naughty Dogs

Rocky's still playing..I think his brother retired..or at least I didn't see him this weekend. Their mom is the sweetest lady. She goes out and picks up all the pods after all the games and then signs the scorecards. The players just walk off the field having her pickup approx 50 pods a game. All the refs help her out...very nice lady...much respect!

ya thats the team and the guys. its been awhile, kinda forgot all that stuff. i hear the names now, like ollie lang, and its like it rings a bell but i have to think about it. maybe i will get that new PB game on 360 and get back into it a bit more

Looks sweet andrew. Let's see the devil in action on the 20th! My dark knight will be making an appearence, lol.

Bert and I actually went out to Warped paintball park this past weekend. It was pretty good setup.

My new(gently used) baby....
07 Ego
Zick Kit
Cure Bolt II

I have almost the exact same setup except I have the original Cure Bolt... no color accents on the setup right now, just "ninja black". The guy I bought it from threw in 2 CCU kits... a blue one and a urban camo one... I like it ALL black, maybe try the blue kit on later... but have NO interest in the urban camo kit at all...

what barrel setup is that? Pepper Stick? I have a Sly kit AND a Deadlywind. I also have an 06 Pev's Ego navy blue which I actually like just as much (no kidding), it's got the orginal Cure Bolt and a Violent rammer kit (basically the Zick Kit). It's heavier, but something about it... I think because it's heavier... it has more a a solid feel to it. you would think with all the money I've invested into the sport, I'd be really good, huh? But not really... working on it :dontknow:

Sweet set-up Ken....

Sly kit = Bad ass...one of the creators of Sly was a very good friend of mine. He came out and coached my team for years...all without pay. He just loved the sport. He just passed away, on Nov. 14th Tyson Evenson, age 27, died of heart attack in his sleep......GREAT ambassador for paintball, great ideas, great man.....I will miss him....

Believe it or not, that is my WGP Naughty Dog Orracle barrel kit from '04. Damn I still miss this gun! but when I sold the marker...I wouldn't sell the kit...it is the best shooting and most quiet kit I have ever owned. People still hit me up about buying it from me...it is really rare....10", 12", 14" in red tips and 16" in black. 684, 687, 689, 691 black backs...only way to get it was to have a ND Orracle

Beleive it or not when you were at the San Diego Annual meet for PB, a guy who palyed with him and also helped in developing some autocross apparell was palying speed ball with us.

He noticed that Pierce had a Sly barrel and asked us about him and how he knew him. He told us he could not make it to SD because his sister was visiting him.

Sad story indeed.

Yes he was very well known.....I knew him since about '98 when I first really started playing tournies....he would come out and just put us through drills all day long...tell us what we were doing wrong..how we could improve..and he would just do it almost every weekend for 2 years...and then whenever we were in a rut, he would come out at a drop of a hat....even when we played against his team, he would tell us what to do and what we did right/wrong....he sponsored us when he worked at ACI......

Really really sad is that he just got engaged 1 week prior to his death....sad, really chokes me up thinking about it.

Yea Bert is right. A guy we played with at Giant PB park in Victorville that NPPL tourney weekend in SD a few weeks back told us about your friend. Sad story.

Owner of Giant PB actually sent all the entry fees of the park to the family for 2 weekends. Very nice gesture....

Damn sorry to bring this thread down.......

13th would have been a lot better for me, going to have to see about the 20th. Shouldn't be a problem, unless the wifey has plans already set-up. Do we have a place for the 20th?

We were thinking of going back to Warped but it really doesn't matter. Do you have a preference?
