I just installed the OEM sport pedal kit in my FX, Its not a difficult install but I thought I would put up some pictures for anyone else that might want to do this.

The part numbers need for this job include | 67840-CG010-Dead Pedal | 18016-AB010-Gas Pedal | 18014-AB000-Bushing | 18014-8H601-Clip | 46531-AB010-Break Pedal |

3. Remove stock dead pedal by turning the plastic screws 1/4 and pulling up, Replace old pedal with new, lock it in by turning the plactic screws back.
The Stainless Steel will need to be removed to get at the plastic screw underneath.

4. The break pedal is straight forward the original rubber needs to be removed and replaced by the sport one. Soaking the new pedal in hot water makes this so much easier.

5. Remove Stock gas pedal by undoing the clip at the back, once that is undone pull it forward and slide it off.

6. Install round bushing into sport pedal, slide on accelerator and clip back into place usin new clip.

7. Enjoy the look of your new OEM Sport Pedal Kit

I beleive I have seen the clutch pedal from a 350/G35 used on the E-break pedal I may try this, If it works out I will update

the e-brake mod will work, takes a little modifying though.

Looks awesome, huge change in the look.

OEM Pedal Kit

I've always wanted to do this to my 08 FX35, but had no idea you can order the kit. Did you order the parts from an Infinit dealer, or did you buy it online? I'm having a hard time finding the kit online.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I'm a newbie who just bought a Black 05 FX35 (loving it btw!), and ordered a set of these sport pedals, and have a few dumb questions about the install...

For the accelerator pedal install, when you remove the old rubber pedal, how best to pluck open the clip to release the pedal?...Do you just pry it open with a screwdriver from the top?

When you install the new pedal, does the bushing get inserted under the clip that goes over it? Also, does the flat end or round end of the bushing go against the back of the aluminum pedal? It's not clear in the picture. Thanks in advance!

For the accelerator pedal pry the old one open with a screw driver than it will slide off at the bottom...next install the round bushing in the bottom hole of the new pedal it can only go in one way, slide on to lever and lay flat on pedal install the U style clip from behind to keep pedal in place on lever.

Hope that clears it up.

Ok, thanks for explaining that! Pedals are on their way, so I'm psyched for the install now. :)

Hey, a big thanks again for your write-up! Got all the pedals on within 30 minutes (although I must say, the new gas pedal really was tough to figure out how to get secured until I realized that it's easier to slide on the clip from the back instead of trying to snap it over the arm). Looks soooo much better with the aluminum pedals down there...I couldn't even see my old black pedals whenever I looked down cause they blended into the black carpet. :)

I used JB Weld to affix the ebrake/clutch cover and clamped it with a really heavy duty clamp for a few hours. It's glued on pretty good and solid.

Nice. From that angle it almost looks like you have a clutch pedal ;)

i did as well, i had to do a double take. I was saying to myself oohh that's why he did the shift kit lol. It looks good i might have to pick this up as well.

Everyone should have this. Its no more than $30 shipped and it really sets off that area nicely. Don't have to look at PUSH ON OFF or whatever it says anymore. :smile (2):
