I had a hard time feeling a significant improvement with the wheels but the springs improved handling quite a bit.Nice look, how is the handling with the new wheels?
Just what I had in mind, just got some shadowline matte vinyl, gonna apply to the rockers and vents this week.Very nice. I really dislike chrome so that's where I'd be heading next.... But it looks great as is
Can you feel a difference in acceleration with this kind of drop in unsprung weight (these wheels are a bit lighter than the stock 21's?)? I recall really feeling the difference after dropping 10+ lbs. per corner on a Lexus GS400 (stock cast wheels swapped with super light SSR Competition wheels). Are the stock 21" wheels and tires around 70 lbs. each? Seems like a wheel swap is a great way to free up some performance.
Are the rears sticking out too much that it looks ricey before dropping the car? I am thinking of doing the same wheels/tires for my fx35 in white. Your thoughts?
