Obsidian Black w/ GT-R wheels

Wow, what a difference the Aero kit make the car looks. Love it! Yeah, agree with Ian (PMG_705) about darken out the headlights should make it even better. Good job.

what are the wheel specs? are there any different from the 2012 wheel spec?
the 2012 spec are 20x9.5 45mm and 20x10.5 25mm

Very, very nice. I see the HL housings satin black with Mareks rings, and the chrome rocker strips and side vents painted the body color (possibly the handles too).......

Or maybe just the handles and the vents body color leaving the rocker strip..... Hard to tell, need some PS exploration work but the chrome is breaking up the slick lines you have going.

Very nice. I really dislike chrome so that's where I'd be heading next.... But it looks great as is

very very clean! =] i like it a lot, we need to get together to do a shoot man
Yah for sure, big fan of your ride!

Looking at those pics, you def live in Torrance......across from King's Hawaiian?
Very close.. couple miles up from Kings Hawaiian.
Nice look, how is the handling with the new wheels?
I had a hard time feeling a significant improvement with the wheels but the springs improved handling quite a bit.

Just what I had in mind, just got some shadowline matte vinyl, gonna apply to the rockers and vents this week.

Can you feel a difference in acceleration with this kind of drop in unsprung weight (these wheels are a bit lighter than the stock 21's?)? I recall really feeling the difference after dropping 10+ lbs. per corner on a Lexus GS400 (stock cast wheels swapped with super light SSR Competition wheels). Are the stock 21" wheels and tires around 70 lbs. each? Seems like a wheel swap is a great way to free up some performance.

Honestly I don't feel much of a difference in acceleration. The mod so far thats actually made a significant difference in the performance of the car are the lowering springs for cornering.

Are the rears sticking out too much that it looks ricey before dropping the car? I am thinking of doing the same wheels/tires for my fx35 in white. Your thoughts?

Personally I feel the increased offset for the rears is ideal, if anything I'd opt to put spacers on the fronts to push them out a little more. There are a couple of more pics in my profile album if that helps.

Photo update - Applied 3M 1080 Carbon fiber vinyl to vents and trim.

Came out great. Everytime I look at your thread it makes me wanting the rest of the aero kit more and more. I should call and get some prices...

apologies in advance bumping an old thread, but i was wondering if your FX is AWD and how running a staggered setup affects the computer/handling of the car.
