noob when it comes to rims, will these work

ok, so i spoke with a local dealer and what i can get are 22x10.5,20 offset with a 5x115 bolt pattern. Apparently a hubcentric ring will take care of the difference between 5x114.3 and 5x115. So a 10.5 up front is fine? Sorry for all the questions, buying this size on all of your recommendations and advice. Again i don't know much about rims other than sizes and widths

hubcentric ring will NOT take care of the difference in the bolt pattern. Who the hell told you that? hubcentric rings fix the difference in the hub bore not the bolt pattern. Nothing fixes the bolt pattern except wheel spacers designed for that.

These are the rims. For 20's i my options are 20x10.5, offsets 20, 30 and 35 for 20x9 i have 15, 25, 38 and 48 and for 20x10 i have 40, 50 and 55. I know our fx's aren't that fast but wouldn't mind keeping the weight down although i love the looks of 22's, I feel like a loser asking all these questions but i trust you guys more than the rim dealer

That's what the shop told me but maybe he didn't name it properly. Really nice guy and good prices. I haven't gone there in person yet. I spoke with Niche and they said it wouldn't be difficult to make 5x115 fit. So is it too much work or should i look at other rims. I was originally going for these in 20x10.5, 25 offset in 5x114.3. Why is this so difficult lol. If this was about car stereos i would have been done already

Those are nice, they are really popular right now on a lot of forums. They resemble vossens but for 3rd of the price. Except, they are pretty open and they will show off your small brakes so it might look weird.

I like the vossen look but not the price, especially for cast rims. The bottom pic of the 20's are very cheap in price. I was going to get my calipers painted black, not to attract attention to them but so they look better than they do now. If only my friend would sell me his brembo bbk, they are huge in person

Jefferson i love how yours look, even nicer in person, if you can inbox me the price on the 22x10.5 20 offset but 5x115 would be great. These are Niche Milan m134. Will the 5x115 be an issue

Those are cool although I like the look of a beefier wheel. those thin spokes will want brakes for sure to complete the look.
I would also get the correct bolt pattern. 114. Why screw around with a weird fit. Better yet . . get a forged GTR wheel. It's perfection & freakin so lite.

How much is a set of these?

The niche rims 20 inch are around $310 CDN each and 22 inch are around $410 each. The bottom 20 inch Ruffino rims are around $200 each.

Jefferson, yes for my FX

T$, noticed a set of these on eBay, shipped for $1035. Maybe the guys can chime in about using ebay for wheels, but the price seemed quite a bit cheaper. I personally like the look of the Niche Verona or Apex. But I'm sure the Milans will look fly.

Frshfx, were those 20's or 22's you saw. You have to remember that the price you're seeing is USD, our canadian dollar is doing bad so when you convert it you get my prices roughly. I like the Veronas too and might look into them as well

Ok guys i'm about to make the leap, so after some more research i can get these for my FX. Same Niche Milan rims size 22x9 +15 offset or 22x9+38 offset. I have decided on H&R's. So which wheel will be closest to flush out of the ones i just mentioned. I was stuck on 10.5 but have a feeling either 9 or 10.5 will look good.I really appreciate all the help

So i am emailing Niche and they told me the best wheel for me is the 22x10.5, +40 offset. They say that wheel with look amazing and it'll give the best concave look. Anyone disagree lol

Yes. I do. That setup will need like 20 or 25mm spacers to be anywhere near flush.

Buy the 22x10.5 ET20's.

Ok, i got my h&r's today with new kyb front struts. I went to see the rim man today and he doesn't suggest i get the 22x10.5 +20 offset, bolt pattern 5x115. He says i should stick with the correct bolt pattern but then all i can get is the 22x10.5 +40 offset. Are spacers bad? I see a lot of threads with people using spacers. I will be using 22/35/285 tires. I did see one guy with 22 inch Vossens cv3 that are 22x10.5 +30 with a 22/35/285 tire. His was flush but he had coilovers. Will the +40 offset look a lot different then the guy with the +30 offset. I'm ready to make the purchase just want to be sure i'm happy

yea stick with 5x114, don't do the 5x115. Just get spacers after if you need to have it more flush with the +40mm offset
