I have Bridge Dueler HPs with about 35k miles and they are making some bad road noise and tread is looking a little worn, so that gives me an excuse to throw some new shoes on my FX. 2010 265/60r18
I have 18" on it and as we all know our choices are limited. If I go down to the "T" rated tires, my options open up. I know speed rating means more than just how fast they are rated, but I am not sure what the down side would be.
Questions:
1.) Will T rated tires be ok for normal use? What would the down sides be?
2.) Anybody have any experience with Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus?
If T rated is fine, It comes down to the Crosscontact LX20($725ish) or Michelin Lat tours($600) Any suggestions? I live in Central Ohio, so we do get some adverse weather and I drive mostly highway.
Thanks, Mark P.
