for everyone wondering what i paid. $1450.00. You have to use your existing flange that connects to the drive-shaft. HUGE DIFFERENCE in performance
 
hey chinke82 you still have that x02 exhaust by any chance? let me know i live in houston and would be willing to take it off your hands... we could work out some kinda deal let me know man thanks.
 
hey guys, Its been a long but its finally done. Well not really ;) I was screwed by sgp (dont worry they got what was coming to them). Anyways brought the fx to another shop a month ago. Great crew and highly recommended. Finished in one month versus sgp taking nine months and not finishing. Ask me to take anyother photo if you want. Anyways details in link:

By the way...i see you have the GTM Valve Body upgrade as well. Did you lett them ( GTM ) do the conversion or did you buy the parts and lett somebody else ( or yourself ) do it...??

I want to do this along with the final gears wich we talked about but don't want to ship my vavle body out around the world when not neccassary and they do offer the parts seperate on the website as well.........
 
i just bought the "transgo" valvebody kit from gtm and got a local shop to install it. I believe it was 200 something. You could get it cheaper... I just did not know any better at the time. Its the same kit that they install on their own valve body. They just add labor to it thus the 600 price. Get the 3.9 gear first though :wink:

Haha will do bud, but honestly i try to get it all at onces.

GT says this about the transco when they do, on their website:

" This is a complete valve body upgrade kit, professional installation required.

When installed inhouse by us, we also do some additional internal modifications for optimum performance"

What do they mean you think....??
 
to make you feel better for paying $400 in labor + the down time in having to send your stock one in and getting it back THEN paying for more labor to get your tech to install it back in your car?

Does anyone know where that came from? I'm guessing the noise of knocking a railroad tie in the ground.
