Hmmm. A bit troubling to hear... I didn't install them yet and I was the first to receive. Lol. Hopefully my set is trouble free.

I don't think we should have to "fix" anything. Either they work like stock or they don't and shouldn't be advertised as such.

I actually don't mind a few glitches when I'm an early adopter, especially since Ray has been very responsive. I appreciate how difficult it is creating something from scratch and if people didn't innovate and take chances like this, we wouldn't have any new products. Just my opinion.

under really cold conditions the cores will shrink just enough for them to come out of the stainless steel knobs. If you put the knobs in the freezer for 5 minutes the cores will come off with ease.

Thank you for your support! I will definitely see this through til the end until everything is squared.

Glitches are one thing, having to create a "fix" or jury-rig something is quite another. I know that Ray has been responsive to this issue since it was brought to his attention, and that is a characteristic of a good vendor.

Hey ray in Mi we get freezing temperatures even lower than our freezer. Any ideas how these new ones will hold up in sub 0 temperatures when they are on the car?

Received and installed mine today. Zero problems with it catching. Looks great!2ajy9u3u.jpg

When the new core is developed it will be fine in any weather or temperature conditions. We will freeze test everything to make sure that we don't need to develop new knobs again in the future.

Even with zero problems now I will still send you a set of new cores when they are done. Just in case you know.

Why do we have to ship the old cores back to you? Can't you just send us the new ones?

I think globe meant ship the whole assembly (knob and cores) and have them swap the cores

Yes if you're not comfortable with taking the cores out and swapping in the new ones then you can send the whole set of knobs back to me and I"ll swap it out for you. But seriously it's really easy and much faster than waiting for the whole shipping back and forth.

my knobs have gotten to the point where they are unusable. they just spin and spin and spin with no result. even if I take the core out and put it back in it still doesn't fix it like it used to. it's 70 degrees where I'm at. hopefully the new cores are ready soon!

hopefully you kept your old knobs? :/
