If you do file fit vs. drop in rings, you should open yourself up to almost any ring on the market. Find stock measurements to get a feel for sizes. I know that in the last few years Nissan changed the production rings for the 45, and the configuration if I remember correctly. Measure your bores and calculate end gap. I'm assuming you'll hone if the bores measure up? Assuming your engine was never ran low on oil, you should have clean bores. You should see blow-by down the piston when you pull it, if the rings were really your issue. Back in the day ( I don't remember which vehicle ), The rings would always get stuck causing oil burn, they'd fill up each bore with seafoam through the plug holes and let sit overnight. Blow out by cranking, put plugs back in and fire it up.....this would usually get the rings to un-stick and run clean again.
