I finally found my black/black FX50S, but it definitely was not an easy find. I was looking for a certified Pre-owned black/black FX50 (i didnt really care if it was sport) but there was a limited amount across the U.S.
I found one about 40 miles away from me at Infiniti of Allentown. It wasn't a sport, but was in immaculate condition. It had 30,000 miles and seemed like a great buy. I talked the sales rep down from 42k to 38k and was ready to buy, but I wanted to sleep on it and reschedule for an appointment first thing the next morning they opened.
I came back ready to buy, but someone got there 30 mins before me, test drove it, and bought it right on the spot! I was so pissed.
The second car I found was an 09 black/black sport at Infiniti in NY. The car had 22,000 miles on it, but it was banged up. All 4 rims were scratched/dented, the front bumper was scratched up, paint chips and scratches everywhere. When I asked the rep why they didn't fix it up before putting it on the showroom floor, his response was "This is NY. It's how people drive. What do you expect?" He was definitely a "car salesman." It was very easy to walk away and was pretty much a waste of my time.
I finally found a great deal for my car now. It was perfect. '09 blk/blk sport in immaculate condition and only 12,000 miles on the odometer w/CPO certification. The rep was very professional and made it a great buying experience. I had the car shipped over from Pfeiffer Infiniti of Michigan into Philadelphia and have been driving it for about 2 weeks now.
My first mod? All around camera mod!
