Darn - I might have to pass on the engine theme - nothing special in there except a lil bling from the LMS Z Tube......

it might be a little bit, but check out fxlr8's setup with 275/45-20...it looks bangin'. smaller sidewall than the stock 265/50-20 and it looks very sporty.

Hey Brown - I already pulled the trigger on the 285/50/20 had them mounted today. They Look crazy meaty - I might have to tub the rear like an old skool muscle car.

Will did you see the difference between your fx now and Humberto's?! I'm sure he noticed a HUGE difference and the look of a very aggressive fx from the rear.

Did you notice and difference today in ride and handling?

Looking good Will, but I'm still partial to 22's!:wink:

I got a chance to rip it around on the freeway today and it feels good. Zero road noise. Im happy with them.

Well Socal got some much needed rain this weekend - and I took the FX out, and noticed that theres all kinds of dirt and water spots on the fender and door area - Im guessing that the 285's are too wide for the mud flaps to stop the water from splashing all over the fender and door area. :frown:

Yeah I got them - mud guards. Maybe cuz my car is black I can see it more????

Ok well its that time again.......I've got about 35% left on these....so Im gonna start shopping around for some new tires.

I didnt really dig the crazy side way on the Yok Prada Spec X.
Im thinking about the same tires but lower profile.....45 maybe?
285/45/20 or maybe 295/45/20?

the 295/40/20 says the diameter is 3.75% difference and thats too much.
The 285/40/20 says its a 4.8% difference. So I guess the 40 series is out of the question. It says i should stay within a 3% difference.

Any suggestions?
