I always thought those were pretty funky looking tires, but real beefy. Dave has a taste for the exotic look:wink:.

Man Dave do you have that picture as your work computer background? It must be your favorite.

It was easy. It's in my P-Bucket, & yes . . . it is, but not my desktop:rofl:

Ok I'm recovering from the Tron pic -

But is there a huge difference goin from a 50 series to a 45? I really dont want the fender gap to get any bigger - I'm thinking about getting the Yokohamas Parada Spec X in 275/45/20

They also have it in 285/50/20
Would the 285's have too much side buldge?

Help.......

With the 10in width of your mods you should be fine with the sidewall bulge Will. But it really depends on the tire itself. The same sizing from different manufacturers have all different side wall bulge. I have just the right amount with my pirelli's on my 305's in 10's. I'd say go with the 285 for a really noticeable difference in handling.

And Dave, don't ever post a picture like that again...your gonna give this board a bad reputation and plus my eyes can't take that kind of abuse!:err:

Thanks Doc-

OK I'm goin with 285/50/20
Yokohama Parada Spec X
Just gonna shop around for some pricing-

Last question - I shouldnt have any rubbing issues right?

I think Tron-man has got Vans on!
Pierce, the photo was related. I wanted Will to see how much bulge he should expect

I think you should be safe with the 285's without rubbing. You may have a small amount depending on how much your springs settle in and on maybe some bumps at higher speeds. I wouldn't worry about it too much Will you can always trim the wheel wells bit if its really necessary.

Ok Dave I'll take your word for it .
