Need Help from wheel experts

theres a dude selling sevas s55 on the .org. Selling for $800 w/ toyo proxies. but after looking at this thread about them just cracking out of nowhere, wouldn't be wise to get them huh?
 
Do a search on google and you'll find some good info on these wheels. I don't think these are very reliable wheels. I think the wheels are made in China with very poor QC. Wheels were initially selling for $400-500 a piece for 20s (I think), but prices dropped drastically as a result of bad feedback from owners of these wheels. I think one of the vendors completely stopped selling the wheels and vendors that still carry these have marked down the price quite a bit to get rid of inventory.

I personally think it's not safe. There have been many bad experiences, but then again there are those that are happy with them.

700 + Shipping is a steal. I personally would not get this brand of wheels, but you can give it a shot.

I think he's been trying to sell the wheels for several months. The guy on the .org purchased another set of Sevas wheels (S-10) and he no longer wants these. I think they are new.
 
i dont know, in my opinon i would stay away from them unless there was any feedback that they had been reparied, if he was selling them and all of a sudden said they got cracked? somethings fishy
 
yeah...im thinking about it. i dont really want it cracking on me while driving. BUT then again 700 plus tires is a good deal. or maybe i should mess with iforged instead.
 
ye go for some 22's , it might be an expense but the results will amaze you , im picking up 22's rather then 20's in march,
