Thought I post a follow up after a week worth of driving. The brakes work really well. The initial engagement is sensitive. The new pedal feel takes a little getting use to. During the learning process I tend to brake harder than is needed. This is evident from passenger head snapping forward. I have notice I don't need to brake as early. I can engage the brakes at a closer distance from the stopping point.
I drove a long distance in the rain yesterday, and did notice the brake pads seem to get stuck on the rotors. I came to a stop with my foot on the brakes. When the light turned green, I let go of the pedal and hear a thud as the car started to move forward. I'm assuming it's the pads on the rotors. There is just the initial thud, then it's normal. I have only noticed this in the rain and with the brake pedal pressed for a longer period during the stop. Never happened when riding the brakes, short stop at a stop sign, or during dry weather.
Also, holy brake dust batman! I have never noticed brake dust from the OEM pads. The K-sport kit produces a health amount of dust. Not sure if other brands of pads will produce less, but I'll give it a try when these are gone. Over all, I'm very pleased. The kit seems to be well built, good quality. The price is extremely competitive. Knock on wood, but if something goes wrong down the road I'll let you guys know.
