Sorry guys, I haven't been on this forum as often as I use to. I still have my FX. I will actually be installing the BC coils this weekend. I still have the Ksport BBK. They are holding up fine, but squealing like a dying pig. The original pads are crap. I tried Ferodos, and they work great, but lots of dust. They also squeal. It was about a month ago I switched the pads to EBC Red Stuff. They are still making sound. I will have the shop take a look at it when they install the coilovers this weekend. I'll take some pictures when I get a chance. The only difference is I painted the calipers to match the body color. They work well. I just wish they didn't make so much noise.

Nice, you kept the FX! You have IS-F still? I just installed Kido BBK and they squeak alittle bit too. I hope it doesn't get worse over time. You will love the coils once they are installed! :top:

Do the BBk take the shim kit's like oem rotors and pads? The only reason i'm asking is because I put DBA rotors on the front brakes with oem pads, and they squealed until I went to the dealer and they said I need a shim kit. After they put the shim kit on the squealing stopped.
You also need to be sure to used an anti squeal compound on the anti-squeal shims. If no anti-squeal shims, you put it on the back of the pads:
You can pick this stuff up anywhere, any brand should do fine. Here is an example:

If you get a squeak every now and then, it's glaze building up on the rotors and pads and you just need to do a quick bedding of the brakes.

Yes, I kept the FX. I think it is one of the best looking SUV's out there. I still have the IS-F. It is only 1.5 years old. Below are a few pictures :tongue (2):. I can't wait to get the coils installed. I have BC coils in my IS-F. The EBC pads came with these 3M stick on shims for the front, but non for the rears. Although EBC said customers can call them and they will send them out for free. I think I'm gonna do what Chadman13 suggest with the pink stuff. Then I might file down the edge of the pads to bevel it. Whatever works.

Quick question about your IS-F, my friend has had his for about 1 year now and it has been back into the dealer two times already because of brake issues. 1- Warping 2-the braking holding the car when foot comes off the brake for a couple of seconds.
