My 45 got T-Boned on the 4th...

Other drive took a left into me...what a moron. After feeling the brunt of the accident, I will never own anything BUT Infiniti. The air bags deployed so quickly and did an amazing job of protecting my passengers and me from a serious accident. The other driver's front bumper ended up on the ground and OFF the car. Need I say anything more about Infiniti's safety???

- both doors are toast
- pillar that separates both doors is bent
- left wheel suspension is bent
- car is not drivable

I'm very curious if the insurance company will total my 45 out.
I still wish this was a dream because the car's barely 3 months old, rims and clear lenses are less than 1 month old too. What a pity.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. At this point, there are many avenues on how this accident altered the past few days and the future. I've seeked legal counsel and refuse to roll over and be content with the other party's insurance just "fixing my car."

Almost a week later and I still do not have a final damage amount. Allstate's adjuster quoted the "current" damages to be close to $12K, but it could easily be an additional $2-$4K more once they come back to the body shop for a final inspection. I'm really hoping she'll be totalled so either I can pick up an 06 45, OR....an 06 G35 coupe. I convinced the dealership to "loan" me one for all of yesterday and it's a pretty pimp ride. But my god, the suspension and stiffness makes our FXs feel like caddys.

^^^+1.....I always thought my FX was a much stiffer ride then the oem G35 that I had for loaners. If that is your thought then you should definitely think about getting after market springs.
