I hope that next week i will get my hands on the Kaze speed side skirts and the wheel fender flares. I just can't wait...
The side skirts are bought from ebay and the fenders flares are the ones that Jbaker is trying to get for his FX.

The fender flares were bought from www.i-gear.ru here is the link > http://www.i-gear.ru/style/details/...h-arok-infiniti-fx35-fx37-fx50-fx30d-qx70-v20
Also snapped a couple of pics of the car:
I think they look subtle painted in black (i am going to paint the lower mouldings in gloss black after all is installed). If you are talking about how much they stick out i will tell you after i get my hands on them.
As a reference fender flares painted in car color:
I am trying to do something like this (it inspired me to buy the fender flares and paint all the lower in gloss black):
Golf GTI Excessive
I'm in the process of ordering these. The matte ones should be available now. I have a few orders and thus get a discount. Would you like to order with my bulk purchase? PM me
Thank you, Jordan but unfortunately i have already paid for them and they are on the way to me. If i would have known sooner... But then again maybe the total amount paid would have been greater if these would have been shipped to you first and to me after.
Nice man I'm thinking about these fender flares too but the only thing I noticed in the pics is that the they look like they don't sit flush when it meets the side skirt so it makes it look tacked on but I may be wrong because I can't really see in the pics.
It may look like this because they need to be installed over the original fender moulding...
Now i know what you mean... You are talking about the Aero kit, right?
Ya I know but it doesn't look right when it doesn't sit flush, that's the only reason why I haven't bought them. Once you get yours please some pics, thanks
Ohhh now I see it's made for other kits and not OEM. On this black fx it sits perfectly flush. I wish it worked for with Oem kit because it looks awesome except the part where it doesn't sit flush with the side skirt.
I think it is a matter of taste if they work or not. It's not perfect but i like it.
Some more pictures of fender flares with the Aero kit to get an ideea:
The fender flares arrived and i have already put them on. They came already painted in gloss black (i don't know why and i didn't asked the seller) knowning from Jordan's thread that they come unpainted and the installation was pretty easy and straight forward. It took me about 30 minutes to install them and the rear wheels were taken off beacause the rear fender flares were drilled just in one place so the shop had to drill another hole to get them fixed. Rear: Front: and some shots with the hole car:
Overall i am satisfied with the fender flares (they give the FX a muscular look). Something i have noticed is that the fronts are a little wider than the rears making it possible, from my measurments (i run a 13mm difference between front and rear), to run the same track width front and rear (the front wheels have a 38 offset + 15 mm spacer = 23 ET and they are still tucked where the rears have a 25 ET and they were poking before installing the fender flares; now they look flush though a 3 to 5 mm spacer is possible). I will install a 25 mm spacer in the front soon. I think you could also run a 315 tire in the back but only if lowered on coilovers.
I am now waiting to get my hands on the side skirts (they arrived yesterday but Romanian post is super slow) and next week my car is going to the shop to have them installed and to paint all the lower mouldings (lip, side skirts, rear bumper) in gloss black.:smile (2):
Thank you, Wayne. I was just like a baby boy with his new toy when i got them...:smile (2): i wanted them installed right away. It's an unfinished look for now but next week when everything will be put together and painted it will be a whole new car.:ninja:
I like those a lot on your FX! I need to see if I can land my hands on a set for 1gen!!
Looking forward to seeing the pics of the rest of your plastic trim painted.
Good stuff!!
