My 09 FX35

I have installed the springs since three months ago but i didn't have time to took some pics. I sure love how the FX handles and i enjoy it more and more. Some new pics from a trip i did trough the country with the springs installed.

In a couple of weeks i will have a G37 Megan Axle back that i will put on. I really like how it sounds and it will fit our FX's with minor modifications to the tips.

You sir, should be a professional car photographer. Great car and great pics.

Hello, people! I finally mounted the G37 Megan Axle Back on my FX. The axle back was 99% perfect fit, the only problem was that one of the flanges were not alligned and i have to cut them both and weld them back. Only the tips had to be extended. The FX sounds pretty awesome now. It's much deeper than before and so far no drone. The stock piping is crap if you ask me. I have my car for three years and 80% of the piping is rusted. I also want to change the Y pipe and maybe next year the mid-pipe as well. Pics soon to be uploaded!!

Removed the rails and added a black gloss vinyl. Also painted the MRR's in gloss black. More pics to come in the weekend when i get my camera back. Enjoy!

I think it looks better with the rails off and the wheels had to be powdercoated because one of them was in a pretty bad shape and i wanted to try something different.

I liked the previous look as well but this doesnt look too bad...as long as its an FX! also, if you had a bad wheel, why not just replace it? ;)

It was hard because i got the wheels from states and the insurance was not going to cover it...
I don't know why is everybody anti-railess. I really like the look of the FX without the rails. Looks much cleanear.

Got my summer wheels back on and took some pics! Very happy now. Too bad is raining and the car is super dirty.

I forgot to keep you updated with the progress of my FX. After buying the G37 Axle-back i made a custom exhaust for it from cats to the muffler. 2.5" with resonators and X pipe.

You can't see the x pipe in the pics. The car pulls a lot better after 3000 rpms :eek.:and if i can i will post a sound clip in the weekend with some revs and a couple of drive-by's.
It sounds very good and i am happy with the results. One thing i don't like is that the drone has moved somewhere at 2000rpms and on the long trips it is pretty annoying even with the music on... but i will have to get use to it since i like it so much.:smile (2):
Cheers.

You have been busy Baias, it's looking good and I bet it sounds good. Look forward to your sound clips.
Do you have duct tape on the roof to cover the holes from the rails.

Thank you, Wayne! Since the vinyl wasn't thick enough not to brake i improvised by sticking another carbon fiber vinyl sheet over the area where the holes are. I wasn't sure if i wanted to put the rails back one day so it is a temporary solution until i figure another clean one...:smile (2):

Final product looks great! I love the look of black wheels. The contrast looks great on your car. Now go clean it!

Very sweet Baias, I like it. Do you have one accelerating from a standing start?

I will post a rolling video tomorrow. I'm glad you like it. I am really in love with the sound. It's a real head turner...
