Motordyne spacers and Berk HFC In Stock!!!

I may jump on board and get Berk Cats on the 45, some ppl don't recommend it though. But, I've been watching a lot of Zs with the Berk HFC with Nismo setup and it sound MEAN!!! Anybody want to weight on this? Will there be some gains or is it mainly for acoustics. I'm thinking I will get the CEL and run really rich.
 
Going to have Real Auto Dynamics install the hfc's along with some resonators. Have a funny feeling the berks with my invidia will equal more drone and rasp.

Will let u know no doubt....shud have them installed this week. Also replacing invidia tips with black ceramic coated Wicked flow tips so that will affect sound also.

If you can, wait to install the tips so that you have baseline to compare the sound with and without the new tips.

Ok Andy...good idea. yeah I will have them install the cats first and see how it sounds. The Wicked flow tips are the same ones you had on your old 35. I jst had them black ceramic coated to withstand the heat.

They are much larger than the invidias and since they are resonated the resonators are larger as well. I would think they would be quieter than the invidias...but u never really know till u put them on.

Going by the muffler shop tmrw at lunch to go over everything being done...also having extra support bracket welded on aside from the new tips and cats.
Been a busy week at work so I haven't had time. I should have installed next week. Problem is the shop is only open during the week (don't understand why so many shops do that) so I gotta go during my lunch break lol...I'll keep u posted John
 
Ok so bad news....tried 2 diff shops and both said they will not install the Berks because they are not Cali carb legal. The ONLY state they are not.
So looks like I will have to DIY....anyone know if there is a write-up on this? It doesn't look hard but I'm not sure of the bolt sizes and torque specs.
Any advice would be appreciated guys!!
 
Oh wow that sucks. I know the bolts on the bottom are OK to get off just the top bolts are tuff.
