Mini-meet with AeroBFA and la_fx35

Had the pleasure to hang out with AeroBFA and la_fx35.

Aero sourced me a nice 06+ cluster and Andy waived a wand and magically installed and reduced my mileage by 84,303 miles. My car does feel brand new again.

Pictures doesn't do it justice, it really is that cool of a mod.

I hope Marek reads this and does his soon...

Man that pork was AWESOME. Best pork dish I ever had -- even close to a pork chop from a purebred Durocs pig I just recently ate that was marbled beyond belief.

The sesames chicken, I agree was too Americanized, you can just tell by looking at it. Still good because the sauce was good.

Always awesome going to restaurants with people from that cultural background -- they know what to order.

Hey Ian, didn't I hear that you got a "get out of jail free" card from the City? Maybe put that to good use in August, like block off Michigan avenue bridge for about an hour or post her in front of the Bean in the Millennium Park? What do ya say :wink:
 
Hey Ed, I just notice that you're on cruise control at 65 mph taking the second pic, right? Notice the speed reading to the left of the "D" window? That's is so cool! The Tech Package has some nice gadgets!

I cannot confirm nor deny if the car was in motion.

But yes, Tech has some nice features.

gas is around 50 cents cheaper in the suburbs than the city where i live... i couldn't resist, even if it was a few gallons.

But good eye -- man you guys catch everything.

In and around the city.. Lot's of small bridges with nice backdrops that no one, other than those that live in the block, know about.. And there are the rooftop parking lots, industrial area etc... If it's on a Sunday, then around 7-8 would be ideal..

If we get there at 5-6, I'm sure we can drive up to it and take a few quick shots before the segway piggies come :laugh:.
 
On the second picture on the bottom left is that your mileage reading there? Does that come on the FX 06+? Because I don't think I have ever seen it on my 08 FX unless I just have not paid attention
