I say contact the law firm that sent you the letter, if its a legit law firm, explain to them the situation. also let them know that you will
file criminal fraud with attorney general, if they insist then tell them see you in court.
 
Send a letter to that law firm address with a photo of some crisp $100 notes. A phony photo insurance claim deems this type of response.
