Thanks for the pics mayor.. Looks great, love the 3/4 front view of this car.. Something about the side shot bothers me though lol, and I think it's the proportion of the front end.. Great ride and I hope to get one in a year or so..

Are the BC's made for this car?

Wow, looks like the perfect daily driver. Nice job, everything is done so well. I like your taste of being custom but not over the top.

Yellow calipers are a great idea.

LOVE this car!! Very tastefully done. I kind of like the OEM rims more though.

yeah i like my OEM's a lot since only 10 RWD M37 sports actually exist in the NYC tri-state area... (most are the 18"WHEEL awd versions)

i get tons of compliments and the BC Coilovers are made for the M37 RWD... I had to do some R&D for BC Racing... they're a lot better than the OEM struts w/ Eibach springs b/c it's a heavy car, the FX actually feels more planted than the M did on turns

I keep trying to push my dad to get another M. He had an early 3rd gen a few years ago. I drove the 56, and I must say the new M's ride really nice and are quiet on the inside.

You just really sold me on this car. When we need another car in a year or so this will be it.. I wonder how much the 11's will cost in a couple of years.

GTO asked about my Miata since I've been absent while organizing a second FX build.

The Miata is my daily so I can't take her down for any length of time - gotta drive to work! I have been knocking out small projects though - here's the latest.

For the most part I've finished prettying up the engine bay. The only thing left would be a wire tuck but I plan on swapping in a new motor pretty soon so I'll wait until that is finished before doing wire work.

My gage hood was cracked - two peices. With some plastic welding and a leather hood, you can't tell. I also got the aluminum gage bezel off eBay for ten bucks. I painted it red to match the shift knob and eBrake handles. I hit all three with rattle can duplicolor metalcast with a layer of clear acrylic.

I also installed the leather trim you see on the upper door panel and the interior door handle, as well as the JBL DB651s you see in the door.

They compliment the pair of 6x9s on the parcel shelf and the gear in the trunk:

And would this be a jumbo post without one of these?

That engine bay looks NICE! The wire tuck will be the cherry on top. :top:

I can't remember if you mentioned this before, but what's the deal with the new motor?

That looks so nice, & that thing must go boom. Any rattles?
