MAP light LED bulb replacement DIY

New to the forum, haven't seen a better bunch of knowledgable cool peeps anywhere else.

I just ordered replacement LED bulbs for my 2010 FX35 but before I go messing around with a screw driver I wanted to know if anyone here has taken apart their front map lights on the 2nd gen fx? Not sure where to poke and prod...

Damn sorry guys! If I knew an LED swap DIY was needed I wouldn't of made a DIY when I did mine lol. But here's my advice:

There is no place to insert the screw driver. I used a flat headed razor blade wedged in between to do it. But I wrapped it in electrical tape to protect from scratching something. Also use painters tape around the edges to protect the surrounding surfaces. It may seem like the cover doesn't want to pop off, but trust me it will. It just takes a little bit of elbow grease and patience.
