I got further details, first, the titan motor not only is missing the ecu, but it is also mising much of the harness & a few accessories, the tranny is not going to fit without major stuff, & this could still turn into a project.
the vette motor turns out it's actually 850hp+

... it is a great deal for a killer engine, unfortunatley it may be a bit TOO radical, & I know that I'll blow the rearend up like it was made out of wood, I think I'd be taking the fx down a road I really don't want to go down....
botom line is, as bad as I want to do something, I'm just enjoying the fx way to much to risk it winding up being like several of my other projects, half done & shoved in a corner... I don't think it's wise for me to do this right now, the stock drivetrain only just hit 60K & it still has a bit of life left in her, today in 7" of snow I was having a blast... just picturing it as a RWD huge hp monster I realize how much I'd be sacrificing, still a great idea & still something I will probably do a bit down the road, but I'm going to hold off a bit & plan a swap maybe a year, year & a half down the road.... after everything else I want to do is done... there is a lot of other things I want to do.
as a temporary fix I think I'm going to wind up buying shady's SC, I don't know if I would be happy with that as a final gameplan, but as a temporary fix it sits well with me & I can live with that... who knows, maybe I'll even be happy enough to settle there for a good while... & I won't be sacrificing nearly as much as the other options would force. that's a weekend project really
more than likely I'll bump this thread up one day in the future as a continuation, that'll be when I have a new drivetrain in hand & am ready to do something significant, till then the procharger will still give me a bit of satisfaction I guess... thank you for sharing my thought processes so far and sorry to have wasted your time reading this thread to begin with

dropping that titan 5.6L engine in a 45 would be almost easy, it's more of a challenge going there from a 35, I really think the 45 could swap out this motor & still use ALL of the 45 control & harnesses even, the 5.6L should be able to be a pretty close swap for the 4.5L, if any 45ers want a great deal on a 3K mile 5.6L 07 motor for $2,500 lmk, it's a really good deal, be nice if someone could take advantage of it at least... in a 45 the swap makes a whole lot of sense
