2009 FX50S
Hello all,
I did a quick search with nothing really found. I am a new owner to a 2009 FX50s and looking to get the H&R drop springs. Curious how people who are running them like them. Any excessive wear on other suspension parts, ball joints, ect? Also are you running stock shocks and struts?
I was looking for some Koni or Bilstein shock and struts and can't seem to find them for our FX50s. Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Yes, you will get some tire wear. We do offer camber kits to fix the tire wear issue.

DatMan is right. I have BC coilovers for 4 years or so. No complaints. The difference between stock and BC's is night and day.

Hmm, looks like I will be looking into the BC coilovers then if you guys are saying they have been good for that long. Curious what is the drop height range of these?

EDIT: What spring rates you guys using?

I upgraded to 10K and 14K (from stock 8K and 12K that I actually had on my previous MEGAN coilovers)... The BC's are much better quality and design, but will still have corrosion issues if you live anywhere with a lot of snow... I have the extreme low kit as well and I don't know what my current drop from stock is but I'm guessing roughly 4.5" and I still have room to drop... You WILL need the camber correction kits though if you don't want to chew up your tires after such a big drop...
