Lola vk :: 2003 infiniti fx45

by the looks of your pic, it seems as though you have some oval shaped staggered tips but I cant figure out whats going on underneath . Its different and unique as well but without better pics you may not get many comments. JMO

Slamming45, like the work you're putting into the ride. The quad exhaust kinda reminds me of the Lexus IS-F... You indicated earlier that the SPC camber kit made things worse. Can you share a little more info on that as well as where I can cop the Kido coilovers? 'Preciate that man!

Lol apparently people don't know what a teaser pic is for. That was an excellent teaser Joe. For the intrigued and motivated, they could had changed the exposure in their photo app to see more.

I appreciate the feedback. Maybe It was hard to understand what I wrote or possibly misunderstood my post regarding the SPC camber kit. Lola had horrible camber in the rear before the kit. It is better with the kit but still looks off from where it should be. I did slot the sub frame arms and would highly recommend this mod to anyone going way low with Coilovers. I am maxed out, low as the Kido will go in the rear. I purchased the Kido Coilovers from a group buy here on iS. I think you can purchase them on Ebay or wait for a member to sell them used. I might go bagged in the next year or 2. I truly love the dual, dual exhaust look and was inspired by the GTR and ISF, hard to fit 4 when the bumper is designed for dual. However if there is willingness to push the norm, there is a way.

Here a few pics of the process, planning and stages of what was involved to make the rear diffuser a reality. I used T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The main fin and sides are 1/4 inch in thickness for overall durability. The fastening L brackets and safety straps are 1/8 inch in thickness. I used hardened Stainless metal screws, bolts, nuts and washers for fastening. Even though the main wing was mounted directly to the rear bumper support, it's only a few inches wide. Adding the rear straps greatly improved stability and strength plus gave me piece of mind. Since the bumper reflectors can only be removed if the bumper cover is off, I decided to tackle that mod at the same time. Cut reflector housings open and used trimable red EL strips sandwiched in between the lens. Wired them along with the new F1 LED to work with the running lights. The Side fins are 1/8 inch aluminum and painted flat black along with the main diffuser structural sides. The Four center sections are molded plastic mounted to the lower cover. I achieved 3 goals in mind. First was to bring together the new quad exhaust to the lower body in a cleaner fashion. Second was to increase MPG by straightening the turbulent air exiting the rear. Since I started the project I have seen a 1-2 MPG gain. Last goal came to me during the planning and trial fitment. The main Wing of the Diffuser is on a 2-3 degree down slope, meaning it creates downforce on the rear increasing stability at higher speeds. I have driven Lola over a 100mph five or six times and she feels well planted during quicker movements. This was a very enjoyable project and I am happy with the finished look and benefits. I'll get some night pics taken soon to show the EL and F1 lighting mods. The reflectors look nice, and that lower light is pretty bright. Love the DRLs, did you go LED?
