Lola vk :: 2003 infiniti fx45

I Need some sport tails no question, I'm reluctant on the headlights cause they are brand new... :sidefrown:
It would look pretty, maybe some removable tint film,but I haven't seen a job well done. Anyone got a good finished product photo?

I need to add some pulleys!!! looks empty in here. Ordered the parts for the E - fan mod today. It's a start...

LOL only took a year and a half to get the E-fan mod completely done, big thanks to my man Clint for his wiring help and mechanical knowlege. One thing we ended up changing was using a seperate Temp sensor housing. I got mine from Buddy Club but there is a lot of them floating around on Ebay. The sensor we used is OEM Benz which is smaller than the one I originally got from Summit Racing. The reason we went this direction was after the first attempt of epoxy into the plastic thermostat housing it pissed everywhere after bringing it up to temp. No more worries of that failing. Here are some pics, wish I had more to share throughout the process. Still need to update the garage here.

Looking good. Is that clear filter cover the new addition, right? Looks unique man:good:

Looking good there Joe. So instead of drilling into the thermostat cap and mount the temp sensor, you went with inline sensor (second picture) on the radiator hose?

Thanks HA, you are correct sir. Very close to the plastic thermostat cap but inline with the intake coolant hose. My mechanic buddy said ideal location would be on the back side of the motor where the coolant exits and gets the hottest. But the front still works just fine, dialed in the temp settings on the controller -5degress

Nice setup, would like to see the Mercedes thermostat placement in person one day. Looks like a better setup than driving through the OEM cap for us.

thanks for asking and will get back to you.Putting new battery in now. How do I replace those plastic clips thqt go around that hoodlegde. I do not want to break them putting them back in

:good: Excellent shoots Zebra. She is very clean indeed. I need to swing by Joe's work one of these days.

Joe definitely needs some sport tails to finish off the look. :wink:

Extremely clean is an understatement. Literally, the cleanest FX I have ever seen. It's amazing the car is ten years old, Lola looks like its one year old.

Thanks guys truly appreciate the nice words! De]eted the fogs temporarily , maybe. One had the reflector screw come lose and was rolling around in the housing along with the reflectir. It had to go unacceptable. Was going to replace one, then both with tinted. Then had thoughts of some ram air, still undecided. Got some inserts for now holding me over that don't look to bad, growing on me. I do have bigger fish to fry in the approaching months. Exhaust, tune and of course some sport tails (wink) and another lighting project. Thank you iS! I love this place

Oh yeah, spc camber kit went in a day before the pics along with 20mm spacers. Beleive it or not it was much worse! Camber is maxed out, the kido rear drop is maxed out, only running a 35 profile tire, Lola is low.
