Krown Rustproofing

$140? Not bad at all. The underneath of my car looks like John's Stillen exhaust:)

Andrew I am semi interested in doing this.

$140 isn't too bad I agree. I know there has been discussions saying that people are satisfied with it and all, but what exactly is it, just a coating that prevents rust or corrosion? Once a year application? Will it last all winter? just confused as to what it is they actually use to "rust proof"

you need the gun, a compressor, a few nozzles & the materials. also need a way to cut the holes & the right sized plugs. it will cost you way more than the $140 to do the first one. if you do it yourself then personally, instead of drilling holes I'd probably want to remove panels where practical. a lot of holes could be eliminated if your not trying to do the whole job in 45 minutes ;)

This is why I didn't do it. A shop by me does this and I didn't want a bunch of holes with plugs. Just doesn't seem right. Plus our cars are setup from factory with rustproofing underneath. I see a 2004 FXs that look great with no rust. I'm not really worried. My cobra started rusting at about 12 years so then I sold it and got the FX. Best decision I made! If it didn't start rusting, maybe I wouldn't have sold it!

So I can't just buy a can of rustoleum and spray like crazy underneath my car=) Kidding... but it has come across my mind to tape things off carefully and go crazy.... Rust has already started so would have a lot of naval jelly work which is way too time consuming for me to do.

I like that option more. However didnt people say a lot of the rust starts from inside

If you are keeping the car for more than 5 or 6 years then I think it's a good idea to have the complete job done, but I figured I was keeping my FX for 3 or 4 years then getting another, so I opted for just rustproofing the undercarriage..
