Kinetix Racing V+ Intake Manifold Plenum

Yea I saw that they have a lifetime warranty. I thought the MD spacer made the sound a good amount deeper and more aggresive, is this not the case with the Kinetix

I had the Motordyne 5/16 spacer on then switched to the Kinetix V+ cuz I was bored...no real data but I like the Kinetix V+ better...butt dyno says the FX pulls harder through the powerband...plus it looks cool as hell. Just my .02

The end result is the same...increase airflow since the spacer/plenum increases volume in comparison to the stock plenum will result in increase in performance.

Im new here, but im just curious what would be the out come of using the spacer and the plenum, Thanks in advance
Oh no, that way too much air if that what you mean.

if your talking about a motordyne spacer with a kinetixs on top then no good. too much air flow
Good point Andrew.

Is it too much airflow? The airflow is still limited by the intake itself. The Kinetix or spacer just changes the size of the plenum. It's why they make different size spacers, the different heights change the characteristics. Typically the thicker spacers result in minimally more power, but on the top end at a cost of low end torque. So if you stacked a Kinetix on top of a spacer, you'd probably lose a ton of power because the powerband would be shifted so far right the engine would never rev that high and the intake tube can't move that much air. If you were boosted, there may be some benefit. But no one has ever done it because it wouldn't fit and at that point, you might as well get a real aftermarket plenum like a Cosworth or one of the crazy one off's I've seen on some Z's.
