Ed, shoot me a PM with some basic pricing please. No need to go to any lengths, but I'd like to get a rough idea at least. Thanks! :smile (2):

And can these be painted a high gloss instead of being anodized?

Yes, paint is extra, anodized is included.

Chrome too if you want it.

Is painted more durable than anodized in general? I didn't know this was an option.

Paint and chrome are extra, anodized is standard.

What color paint do you want? Anodizing makes the color a part of the aluminum, I would say the preferred method for aluminium calipers. I'll let others chime in, but I would anodize over paint when I can on aluminum surfaces, even over powder coating. That's just me.

Anodized has more of a metallic, sparkling effect to it right? Which would be good for me since I have metallic paint.

Different finish though, your body paint will have a clear coat, the anodized is a bit more of the raw aluminum finish and looks great out of the gate. Both are very nice but in Chicago I might go with baked paint for added durability. You will occasionally see the guys that have high end anodized brake calipers looking for paint matches.

You think the KIDOs are an upgrade from your JBT kit?

What can I say- There are leg men, boob guys.....today, I'm a caliper guy =) Hey, if Ed (master of research) is willing to move out of his AP racing BKK for KIDO's I see no issue with the move....

I don't have any inside info - just curious. I wouldn't have thought they would be THAT high quality a product. I'd really like to see a side by side comparison.

^ Valid point. Be nice to see a group of BBK's and confirm the build quality across the board, so hard to tell what's what. We know that that JBT makes big names (that they won't readily share) the same is true with KIDO. So do they employ the same quality build throughout the product bloodline? I know my JBT's have been bullet proof.

Is your JBT setup painted or anodized? Painted I'm assuming. I guess I should pay more for a more durable finish if that's the case. Chicago winters can be brutal. Since your talking about caliper size, I guess my setup will be huge. 8 pot front and 6 pot rears. :eek.:

Mine are painted, same as Andy's. An 8/6 pot set-up will obviously perform and they will LOOK amazing =)

Lance...will your JBTs fit my 06 35 with any issues?? PM me...might be interested

Ed...can you also shoot me the same PM about basic pricing that Stu requested?? Thx.
