okay ima sell my Akebono's and jump on these.

Get FXPS engraved on them, that would be cool... If you custom design something they can CAD it in. Or else you can pick from their fonts.

Ed, that is a very nice price for a quality set of BBK. You will like the stopping power!

That shipping is simply ridiculous.

Point taken, but Kido uses a reputable shipping company, DHL Express. You also get your item FAST from Taiwan to USA/Canada. If this was shipped cheaper (e.g. cargo boat), it would take probably at least a month and I believe when you receive you have to pay custom/duty fees (I have no idea, I haven't done this. Maybe Dave can chime in as he seems to have customs hook-ups).

Also, the shipping costs includes some handling to properly box and package and also note the Kido is paying the duty fees for it to leave Taiwan to come into the USA.

The coilovers were USD 225 in total to ship for one set, the shipping weight is around 62 lbs and is a huge box.

I could have said $XXXX shipped and no one would have said anything about shipping costs, but I wanted to leave details. Most people hesitate ordering from overseas and look for US sellers.

I think anyone who ordered the coilovers would give positive feedback on how fast they received their product from Taiwan and how they received them without damage. They can probably also attest to how heavy the boxes are and can probably understand where $225 in shipping/handling/duty fees comes into play.

My point is, Kido is not ripping you off and getting rich of shipping costs. I promise you that you won't find these prices anywhere else.

Yeah, shipping seems reasonable to me, as I was shocked with how heavy the coilovers were. Packaged well, and shipped like lightning too.

I would prefer to have the pricing detailed rather then just a plain jane "$XXXX shipped". I like to know how much the goods are worth and how much on the shipping. Remember, these bigger rotors and they are heavvvvy.

Coilovers shipped out on a Friday from Taiwan and was out for delivery in Houston on Monday. Enough said. :D

Hah, remember when our JBT boxes arrived and how much they weighed? Regarding the shipping costs my Nismo exhaust shipped across country was $175.00 (and if I remember correctly the seller kicked in). Fuel costs/shipping costs have gone up but shipping from Taiwan has never been inexpensive.......

Wow, very nice work again Ed! These look like top quality and I love the fact that you can customize the kit to your liking.

Here's the deal, I'm removing pricing and releasing via PM.

Kits are ready to go and no need to wait, if you want a kit, PM and I'll get you details and pricing.

Yes, these kits are available still. I am in the process of ordering a kit now. I chose Kido for the custom color options and engraving on the calipers. :top:

Hey don't want to hijack this thread, but I feel another install meet coming up for the BBK, don't you think? :wink (2):

:smile (2): Ok, ok. If I don't already have BBK on my car I would joint you on the Kido BBK club. So far very impress with Kido product quality :top:
