Hi,
I just moved to the States to study and been looking for a car as my daily driver. I won't be racing or looking for after market mods. However, I do like to floor it every now and then and enjoy the power of a car. To be honest, I never liked the FX till the last couple of months when I randomly looked at this forum and began to read more about the vehicle. Soon, it grew on me and became " a must have " SUV/cross over.
I found a 2006 FX 35 with 76K with an asking price of 18K. I checked the carfax, it has three previous owners. Now is that something I should be worried about? In addition, since it has 20 inch wheels, are snow tires a must? Since the state I'm heading to snows from oct/nov - mar/apr. Or could I just go along with the all season. I do know the advantages and disadvantages, but I really can't afford to buy a set of dedicated wheels etc.
Since it has 76K around the clock, what replacements should I be looking at? and how much do they cost.
My final question, do you think it could last for another 50K atleast? My yukon back home has about 120K and still runs strong.
Sorry if I bored you guys with all my questions, but thanks :D
