Like I said before don't hold your breath, they told me they were going to do something over 5 years ago.
 
I'll find out on Monday. I thought about volunteering mine but hesitated. lol I do a lot of driving for work and don't want to put that many miles on my Nismo 370. The tires cost a pretty penny.

Hopefully, it comes to fruition. I'll be checking the status of it in 3 to 4 weeks.
 
Great news hopefully it all works out. I been trying ever since I got my FX in 2012 and nothing ever pulls through.
 
Its great to hear someone is doing something about it.. but I wonder how many decades it'll take to get the front done too. Without a complete kit (front and rear) its not of much use.
 
I talked to Mike at SPL today. Looks like I may be the volunteer for these. I commute 120+ miles daily for work on the daily. I put about 30k+ plus miles last year on the FX, so I think I'll make a good candidate. Not to mention I also drive it like a sports car a lot of times. :-D

LoL They better. I really would have liked to have a solution for the front as well. When I approached them initially, all the stuff I had read on this board pointed to the rears as the major cause. Prior attempts at fixes were for the rear suspension. It was only after I approached SPL and put the poll up that I was informed that the front end is just as bad if not worse in premature wear on the tires when lowered. I'll discuss coverage for the tires in detail with them when the time comes.
 
See if you can nudge them a bit more towards starting developing a front end solution as well. At this rate I guess it'll be a year or so before we see anything being mass produced for our use.
 
^ did one member with 1st gen get this custom made? Why not contact him and see where he got it done and then contact people who made it. Would probably be the best way to start

The majority of FX/QX owners are regular people who aren't about modifying their cars. They need to sell in thousands to justify the R&D cost.

And here we barely have 100 people willing to put money into a group buy.

Everything I had done for my cars up till now are fully custom and they cost a lot of money. And I can see the same with SPL given the demand. Rear arm may be plausible but front arms are going to be PITA (Trust me, I've worked months on the measurements and adjustments).

I'm having a set (front and rear) made for my own purpose and hate to bring it but we don't plan to mass produce unless people are willing to pay for it. Cost me over 3K for the project.
