Talked to them today. Things are looking good. They asked me to send pictures of my dash with the bubbling. I will keep you guys posted.
Of course I have heard of the dash bubbling problem but isn't the cracking bolster seat leather a more widespread issue? Based on the case I assume the dash replacement and the dash repair is a higher ticket scenario than fixing the seats. Interesting to see how this will play out, class action suits normally associate themselves with much larger bodies of consumers, like thousands of bubbling dash cases (or more) here. If it does go down I hope the dash repairs are covered. Typically after the class suit the settlement funds are distributed to the supporting attorneys first (meetings, travel time, everything is covered for them first). If the suit pool is relatively small, they will get what they get and you may receive a $20.00 check, a bottle of glue and a set of instructions on how to re-adhere your dash.
Not going to argue that, the dealer should make it right. I was wondering if the lead attorney in the proposed suit owns an FX![]()
Just emailed. I have bubbling around my center speaker...lets keep this thread up
The dash has already been recalled just go to the dealership if you need a new one and the SHOULD hook you up
