HOW TO: Replace AWD Front Hub Bearing Assembly

This is a great DIY. Big thanks to all the contributors. Is there a typical mileage at which the front hub bearings need to be replaced? I just picked up a low mileage 2003 FX35 but I think I hear wheel bearing noise at highway speeds.
 
There is no specific mileage for replacing hub bearings. Bad bearing noise will increase/decrease with speed.
 
No need to grease the axle spline, but feel free if you want to.

After the axle has been removed, loosen the 4 19mm bolts with a few thread still threaded to the hub, hit the head of each bolts until hub pops off the knuckle, and then remove the 4 bolts to take the hub out of the knuckle.
