how to install paddle shifters

Have a question for anybody who tried. Why is the price difference? I found those on InfinitiPartsOnline.com
Are the FX ones specifically for Gen 2 and that is why they are more expensive? I have Gen 1 (2003, FX35). Can I use the ones for G37 since I got to mod them anyway? If not, is the a place I can get them cheaper than $300???

Wow, the black colored paddles went up in price that much? That's crazy. I'm positive that I paid $175 the black colored paddles. G37 & FX35 uses the same paddles. The black 2010 G37 paddle is also $307.
 
well, IF the paddles are the same, I will go with the G37 wheat. My FX is liquid cooper and interior is brick color, so wheat will not be that bad... But that is crazy, twice the price for the black color???? :eek.:

actually, they have the "stone" color, so maybe that the ones I'll buy
 
They went up in price because they are the same paddles used in the GT-R and they can't have inexpensive GT-R parts floating around.
 
Yea i am just ocd about my car and wouldnt want the back of the switch sticking out. Turbocad would you mind posting more pics of the v2 design? I would like to work on that design for my car.
 
His Paddles v2 never made into production. Only 1 prototype was made and installed into a 350z.

As Andy had mentioned, v1 works great for years.
 
Yea I know, but like i said i dont want the back of the switch sticking out. If i had more views of his v2 version, i would be able to build it. I still will probably try with the pics he does have posted.

That's insane, so they raised the price on the black ones because the GTR uses the same paddles, yet if someone else needs a set for any other car, they're paying out the nose...But of course they obviously thought about it and realized, who would want to buy new paddles, paddles don't break ...

Yea its carzy and i almost decided not to do this mod because they are $302. I ended up ordering a used set off of ebay.
