how to install paddle shifters

Nice, that's the way to do it. I remember seeing a post here before and someone quoted $174 for the paddles. When I went to ask parts for a quote and even checked online, they were much higher than that for black. If I couldn't get a used set, I'd buy a different color and change the leather pieces myself.

The GT-R actually has two revs of paddles. The older models look exactly like the FX with a titanium painted finish. The newer ones have a clear coat over the "raw" magnesium which is kind of a mottled rough look.

It's possible newer GT-R owners are grabbing them since IMO the FX/older style looks better - assuming the part numbers are the same.
 
So I got my paddles in. I plan to try and modify them like turbocad's V2. It is at the bottom of my to do list, but I will get to it eventually. The G has priority right now :)
