How can I achieve the sexy stock exhaust of a G35 or 1st Gen FX on 2nd gen FX

Wait... someone mentioned girls panties drop? Never see that in nyc tho.

Well if you can't have Drew's exhaust because of the complaints, you can always go with that mod :)

Add a panty dropper sticker ;)

Wow, what kind of Nazi neighborhood do you live in? I wonder what would they say about my Boz Moira GSX-R exhaust.... :eek.:
haha i wish i could but i had complaints from my development when i had my HKS that it was too loud, they all think i'm speeding from just the sound.
so i'm only gonna try to obtain that sexy stock VQ exhaust sound that gets the girl's panties drop

hahaha that sticker is awesome!
my development is crazy about little things. even complained how my family were not able to fish in the public pond and were going to charge us for every fish that we caught. LOL

Let me know via text when your neighbors are outside next. I'm going to WOT it hard down your street in my G. :)

I also have the g37s muffler on mine. not loud at all but still have that stock sound to listen to during the summer with the windows down.
You're in PA, do you happen to live in downingtown? The way you explained problems with neighbors and fishing, it sounds like downingtown lol.

ok guys, i'm gonna set up a fishing car meet!! haha

fxthreeseven, i'm not from downingtown, i'm from southampton. do you also have a video sound clip of your exhaust?

I lucked out and was able to buy an IPL exhaust from a 2013 G37 with 14 miles on it. From what I gather from the G37 forums the IPL is a Nismo piece. I elected to replace the whole or catback with the IPL catback. It has been getting more throatier and deeper sounding. I'm quite happy with the way it sounds. I don't want to attract the wrong attention.

And I'm down for the fishing meet :()

New here, been scrolling through as a visitor for awhile though, owned my FX35 for 2 years now. This is something I'd like to do as well, will a 370z muffler fit as well or just the G's?

I've been searching the
370 and g37 forums but I could not find any info if a 370 exhaust is a direct fit for a g37 exhaust. The 350z exhaust when used on a g35 exhaust needed an extension piece to fit. If the 370z exhaust can fit the g37 exhaust then fitting one on the FX will only require the tailpipes to be extended. If you can find the 370z CBE using the H pipe instead of the Y pipe this should have a deeper tone but to extract the actual 5 hp gain you would need to have the FX chipped and retuned. I found a company that has a true 2.5 h pipe just like the Nismo H pipe but it's quite pricey at over $800 but it has been dynoed to produce a significant hp gain. The company also has a rear section OEM style exhaust as well. Just a tip do not use the all stainless steel non OEM Nismo exhaust from the Nissan catalog. It will not bolt on to our rear sections without extensive mods.
