the whole idea is to custom make one and not slap whatever scoop you find that you think might look good.

But the engineers and designers went to the trouble of putting the windshield washer fluid nozzles from the hood to the wipers in order to keep the hood as clean as possible. I'll pile on and say vents or scoops would not look good.

Probably from the initial question on.
FWIW, a hood scoop would be very hard to pull off on the FX. Just based on the design/shape of the car and especially if the car is stock. If you had some crazy bodywork done, then maybe. But even then it would be iffy. Hood scoops can be hard to pull off in general. I had previous cars I tried having custom hood scoops/vents put onto as they were custom turbocharged and I wanted to vent the heat. However, after dozens of mockups nothing flowed and I scrapped the plan.

no hood scoops thanks. if you do manage to get one, make sure you run to discount tire and get the cheapest and ugliest chrome wheels to go with it.
