Handy_Andy's Mini Meets

^ Andy definitely has that down to a science. It wasn't as involved as I thought it would be, but the trim pieces are delicate and the bolts between the bumper and front fenders are awkwardly placed and take some experience to get to easily. Once that was done, you basically take out all the plastic clips on top of the grille, and then you can just let the bumper hang in place. Pretty cool really.

I don't think you would be as fast on a 2nd gen bumper and headlights Andy. I'm sure of it. Wanna prove me wrong? Hehe

Bumper dropping race!!!

Andy, just curious - what do you use to remove the bolts that hold the bumper to the fender? I always use an open ended wrench but find it too time consuming. Thinking about getting a ratcheting box wrench just for these bolts...

No your not! You can seriously take the front bumper off blindfolded, just by touch by now. :top:

I use a flex headed ratcheting wrench. Seriously, it is the perfect tool for that spot.

I only get to rip out Jonas engine cover. It gonna be a real challenge on a 2nd gen bumper cover!
