GTSPEC Mid Chassis Brace FX 35/45 - Install Pics / Pre Production Pics

Forgive me or just delete this post if it's not a place for this talk. I was wondering if too much bracing is too much. I remember driving home in my new 04 FX and noticing some wheel hop on corners right off the lot. Can it ever be too dangerous being too tight?
 
^ from my understanding, bracing will minimize body flex and transfer that energy to the suspension. sounds good to me, my only concern was from a crash :eek.:

Wow, looks like this has finally materialized.. Nice that all the crawling under the FX wasn't for nothing :smile (2):
 
Just wondering if anyone has one got one on their FX yet? Looks like you can buy from GTSPEC directly.

Wait - you already ordered the mid chassis brace??? Didn't know they were taking orders - how did IS miss this and not have an order thread going??? I know there was a GB list - or maybe it was an interest list? Anyway I was on that list and I still want the mid-chassis brace!!! Guess I need to call GTSpec...

We have to redesign this brace to mount on different chassis mounting points. The first version mounting points was a bit weak (using use M10 bolts).

The new revision (though smaller) has better mounting points then the first version.
 
I ordered it early July and I'm not sure it will even fit with my exhaust. If not, it will be going up in the classifieds...
