Like rookie stated I am only in for the fronts so whoever is next in line gets number 13's spot :biggrin:.
 
Okey guys the Gtspec braces are installed. It took me about 15 minutes to install them bolts off bolts on. My initial impressions are handling is much better when I take a hard corner I swear there’s less flexing of the frame , suspensions and less or no body roll . Theres a very huge improvement. My tires couldn’t keep up.:sad:
You will definitely feel more bumps on the bad roads because it stiffens the suspension but it doesn’t bother me . Im very happy with the GTSPEC braces. :smile:I highly recommend them if you want sporty ride. :top:

Note on the last picture I put my wheel lock to show the clearance between the stock pipe and the gtspec brace.

Fast shipping indeed! I got mine in today as well. Now I just need to decide if I can squeeze my largeness under the FX to install these.

Can only imagine what the stiffer ride's gonna be like . . . Given Eibachs, 22s & 35 profiles running 40lbs cold. Ouch! :biggrin:

Why are you running 40 cold? That's gotta be stiff during the summer heat, check psi once they warm up too. Higher pressure helps a little with mpg and stuff but you should run less psi.
 
From everyone I've spoken to, the consensus was that 39-40 was the right pressure for 35 series scorpions (including dealer when they reset tpms, they said I should be running that). Seems to ride just fine too. When hot, I've yet to break 43-44. Do you have another or more correct opinion?
Doesnt it say something like 50 on the sidewall?
 
50 is max on the sidewall. I have the same tires, 335/25 and 295/30 series and run 34 or so cold. I can understand a little higher pressure since they are slightly oversized but 40 just sounds high.

Series don't mean anything unless you're saying the tire width as well. :wink:
 
Thanks, I'll try bringing it down a bit & see how they ride. I swear though, even at those pressures, they're still smoother & less jarring than my old used up RSA's running 32-34

That was what I was afraid of, I wasnt sure if it would clear my Nismo's. Also, someone mentioned that AWD models has a stock sway bar already.... Is it worth it to get the GT Spec if there's one there already? (I know I'm slacking, I still have until tomorrow to decide .. :tongue:)
 
They are not selling sway bars. They are selling something totally different. If you look under you car, you'll notice you do not have these pieces on your car.

You can safely purchase these since they don't come stock on your AWD model as long as it clears your Nismo :top:
 
took it down to 36, & ride is very smooth. I cant get over how good a tire the Scorpions are . . smooth yet grippy. Also have better forward bite now, cuz before I was spinning quite often from a start with all that pressure. Thank Rookie!
