First, big thanks to Rubare for taking the bull by the horns to make this happen for everyone!

Per his request, and based on the demand expressed by the members here, we're going to proceed with another round of group buys for the GT Spec Braces for the FX35/45

This is going to be structured just like it was last time - it ended up working out well for everyone I think. We've listed the most popular combos below to make it easy for everyone.

Deadline - payments must be received by 12/26 (2 weeks from tomorrow), this way we can get the details to the factory before the 1st of the year. Estimated arrival for the braces is January 31, 2009 to our office, then they will be shipped to everyone, just like last time, with invoices/tracking emailed.

Are there minimums you need to start the order @ GB close date?
 
Just an FYI- Im in fellas but not sending in the $$ til I know for sure this is gonna happen as I dont wanna tie up $400+ right before Christmas

Are there minimums you need to start the order @ GB close date?

I believe last time around, GTSPEC had a required minimum.

Just float the money on the CC. You wont need to fund anything for 30 out.
I dont think this is gonna happen unless Adam gets some solid commitments . . as memory has it :eek:
 
so even if we pay now, we still will have to wait until everyone else pays to get them?
 
well i started it and i keep the leading the it by taking the iniciative.. i'm ready to make the payment for the big dog combo... also i will notify(PM) everyone that is on the list that this is really happening i also will sent them the thread to this post so they could be better inform.

and if anyone is concern about giving their money away sooner than later. its their money so they have all the right to do so and its a really hard GB due to the fact that is Xmass season.. so NO ONE IS CRYING ABOUT ANYTHING!

i know EG3.. but its not right to say things like that anyways.. as i said before its a hard GB due to the holydays season...
 
I am determined to NOT have this go off in tangents like last time guys, so I will ask this small favor. The terms of the GB, which work just like any other GB out there, are posted clearly. We've done this now 4 times on this board alone, it's worked out very well, people were able to get the parts they needed, at a lower cost than normal, in a reasonable amount of time. If the terms don't work for you, then so be it, no harm, no foul.

Based on the interest thread by Rubare, this is moving ahead, which is why I posted it. The previous feeler thread by Rubare showed that people were ready to commit and move ahead with a Group Buy. He clearly identified the items that would be included, the payment terms, and even went so far as to tell people this would be on a short timetable. So none of the above should come as a surprise to anyone who expressed interest. Per Rubares original postings, we needed 10 people to get it going. Not 10 of one piece, but 10 people. As the feeler thread ended up yesterday, we had those 10 people. If it ends up only being 8 people who actually move ahead and pay to get the braces, then so be it, then those 8 people will have the benefit of the GB. If it ends up being 15 people, then great, those 15 people will reap the benefit of the GB. Conversely, if it ends up that there are only 4 or 5 people, then it probably won't happen. Just so everyone is aware, without the GB, the braces don't get produced. So, if you guys want 'em, I'm more than happy to make it happen for you, and have worked out the details as specified in the first post.

Hope that clears it up, so we can get onto to making this happen.

I understand it's the holidays, and as such, this might be not for everyone. Again, no problem

Fellas

New to this, understand the concept of what this is suppose to do, but Im not doing in performance time driving, but I would like my FX to handle better. I figure at a minimum I need something for the front and rear, but what? Thats where I need some advice. Looking to maybe spend $400-$500.
