Very nice Soon. Is it necessary to change batteries with deep cycle type with this mod or stock is fine?

Ouh, that amp project is looking good Soon. :good:

not as good as yours , trying to keep this project going...

In my case, I'm replacing the BOSE subwoofer with amp (same fitment over the spare tire). FX is just running DieHard Gold 640cc battery and should be fine.
Fun project, you should take it on if you are bored in TX.

Just a note soon, if you are planning on putting that where the stock sub goes, remember that you will need some area in the middle as well as a hole to be able to use the stock securing method. Unless you have some sort of other way of securing it...

Great point Meme, but John had that all figured out with the "Spare tire support board". Ties together by 2 wing nuts.

Basically it stacks up enough and widen to support the rest of the equipment.

would the spare work since hes running 21s?

Why wouldn't it? His rolling diameter is still the same (or close enough to use the spare to limp to a tire shop). Its a BBK that will prevent the spare from being used.

@soon, I saw those two bolts but didn't put 2&2 together. Thats a great idea to maximize space as well. :good:

Can't wait to see the finish product. Post lots of pix. Slap John at the back for me. :-)

The master mind behind the scene is Turbocad, his design and craft. He penciled the lines and hand guided a router with a round 1/4 by 1/4 bit. :good:

the completed raw lines:
