Go to a V8

I'm surprised you never asked if you could drive mine with karen. I had no idea when you were here both times that you were even remotely considering.

Ha, anytime, anyone comes to Chicago or install meets to see us, it's over for them. We are bad influences. :highfive:

Yeah I wasn't modding my FX until I went to my first chicago meet. bad influence I tell ya!

bastard you said you would PM me when you are in MI next time! :at-wits-end:

Haha...Last minute trip with limited spare time. Here to see a family member who is ill. Sorry JD. I had wondered if we could cut north to Ann Arbor and then west but it didn't work out.

Actually I live in Canton...which is more east and closer! FYI. :)

So Karen agreed we can make the trip tomorrow to check out this 09 FX50s .

Well it was a long day today, checked out the 2009 FX50s with 25,000 miles on it. It was a 300 mile return trip. We spent 2 1/2 hours at the Dealership.
Found a few problems with this car, I surprised them, they didn't know I was coming so the car was not cleaned up.
-3 of the 21s had bad curbage on them
- one door ding on front door ( may get it out with PDR)
- The black rear lower valence had a 6" mark on it where it had been hit
- the top part of the leather wrapped steering wheel was marked up.
Other than that it wasn't bad, not near as well kept as mine.
Karen and I took it for a road test for 45 minutes, there was something about it that didn't feel right, very touchy gas pedal (not like the other FX 50S I took out) and it generally did not feel as solid as mine.

We did work out a deal but I didn't get it because I'm not sure about this car, Karen was ready to put a deposit on it (Yea !! I got her hooked :smile (2):)
I'm sleeping on this one, can't be in a rush.

Here are a couple of pics

Lol nice!

When you mean feel "solid" as in it was rattling inside?

It's hard to find one in good condition as yours. I was looking at new FX's in the showroom and mine is in better condition than ones with only like 10 miles on them and im at 47K miles lol. Other people are hard on cars.

Aaron , their were no rattles, it just didn't feel right, it was something I can't explain. The other 50 I took out a week ago generally felt more solid , the transmission shifted better, brakes seemed to work better.
The salesmen told me they have not gone over it yet.
This car did have all the options you could get, and was just what I wanted but I felt it wasn't look after.

I'm still thinking about it, I know Karen really liked it.
