Get more output from our Bose subs!

Epicenter was talked about earlier in this thread. IT IS an awesome unit and will definately work better than this little circuit. But this circuit is $10...your Audiocontrol Epicenter is approx $150-200.

Also, this circuit is to be used with the stock subwoofer, not the subbox/ custom work that you have done. Of course the Epicenter can be installed into the stock system too..but its really worthless with that little sub.

The sub sounds great now. I actually had to turn the bass on my system DOWN (used to have it all the way up) because at higher volumes it sounded like crap.
All for $20!
 
your welcome, hopefully more people will go out and get this done to prove the results.
 
I thought about building this, but since I already had an Alpine 4.150 that I wasn't using, which would fit under the driver's seat, I connected one channel of the the Alpine to the stock Bose subs (rewired to 2 ohms) and it sounds great and supplements the stock speakers well.

I'm thinking about replaceing the front door speakers and using another two channels of that amp.
 
so if we use the color diagram on page 3 of this thread that will work? i like pictures better than words to figure things out...LOL. and someone said you dont have to cut wires at all? i would prefer that method if you could elaborate!!! thanks
 
bump bump - Anyone feel like providing all the RadioShack part number to build this little circuit?
Also since there was some mixes of epicenter wiring, I got a bit lost on what goes were.

I agree. I've read from page 1 but got confused :embarrassed: Can someone sum it all (required parts, making of the circuit, connecting it to the sub, etc) up in one post, please?

It seems like the OP made it clear but I just can't figure it out. Is building the one with the EQ harder? Does anyone have instructions for making that one?
