They look pretty damn good for a dupli color paint job!
Thanks . I was very impressed with the color match. I took the centre caps to the store and found a match, it was perfect. I could spray the scuffed and damaged areas after light sanding and it blended in perfectly. One wheel was already in perfect shape (like new) and the other three just needed some touch ups. The wheels were like 10 years old.
Thanks Jonas, and as to the new DM-V2 Blizzaks, they are very quiet on the highway, no snow to test them out on yet, but I know they will perform great.

Note I just washed the truck in the Garage with Optimum No Rinse (ONR), I only used 2 gallons of water and an ounce of ONR, it works great.

Well , I am missing the closed in storage, so I am considering another vehicle. I would like to stay with Nissan so I have found a 2015 Nissan Xterra Pro-4X. It is the loaded model and has the 4.0L V6 like my Frontier. It will pull 5,000 lbs. The one I found only is a one owner with only 18,000 miles on it and factory warranty. It is a 4x4 SUV with locking differential, nav, back up camera, leather, skid plates, hd suspension etc.
It is 3 hours away so I am negotiating with the Dealer there before I make the drive to test it out in the New Year. I am not in a rush since I do like this Frontier.

FYI those Xterra's have a bad habit of destroying their own transmissions due to a fault in the cooling system which lets coolant enter the transmission fluid. There is a fix out there for the problem, I believe it was a TSB or recall.
Manual transmission models are way more reliable. I've been looking for a nice manual 2nd gen X for atleast the last year. In my area none have popped up.

From my research it was on the 2nd Gens up to 2010:

Thanks Meme, I certainly appreciate the heads up on this, it definitely gives me something to think about and do more research.
I have 3 friends with autos and they have not had problems and a good friend is in the Service Dept at my nearest Nissan Dealers and they said very little issues with them. I also checked for recalls and TSB's on the year I am looking at and there are none. My Frontier has the same engine and auto transmission and they work great, thats why I am interested in the Xterra.
As to the manual 6spd 2nd Gens, there are at least 4 I saw on Kijiji in Alberta for sale

Pathfinders also had this issue. My gf had one with it and they supposedly extended coverage for it to 100K miles. She just missed the cutoff when it started acting up really badly. Fortunately we traded it in on a new CRV and got a hell of a trade in figure on it. Would have been ~$4-5K to fix.
Well I did not purchase the Xterra, it was too off-roadish for Karen, besides that was the last year they made them.
So the search continued for a good dependable SUV that could tow up to 4500 lbs. Found something else and I pick it up next Tuesday, right now they are tinting the front windows, installing new Blizzaks on plain black steel rims and doing the trailer hitch wiring.

That was one of my choices but the entry into the car was too high for Karen.

lol, it's a 2015 Black Honda Pilot EX-L with the rear entertainment system,(the grandkids will love that). It is a mint one owner car with only 18,000 miles on it with warrantee until 2021. We took it out and Karen just loved it. It's my first Honda I have ever owned.
Awesome! This is one of the cars I loved. Next car for Kim will either be this or now turning out to be most likely a Honda or Kia minivan. But I just love the Honda Pilot! Such a great vehicle!
Thanks Jonas, and it does have the ability to seat 8 people. Karen fell in love with it as soon as we drove it.

Well I picked the Honda up a week ago and so far I am very pleased with it She drives well, is very comfortable and roomy, lots of storage, good on gas, fit and finish are great.
Here are a couple of pics of it beside my Nissan Frontier (which I traded in) when I picked it up at the Honda Dealers. This is with the steel wheels and Blizzak winters on it.
