I got my Frontier back. They had a heck of a time finding the cause, but, it was from a critter of some sort that decided to nest in the double walled fan shroud, they found some material in there and a few teeth marks. It appears like this pulled apart the shroud and it was hitting the edge of the fan once in a while, it sounded just horrible.
Anyways all fixed and no charge for the shop time and the hour long trip on the flat bed.
I got my Frontier back. Well I got to try my Frontier out for towing today.
I got my boat out of storage and brought it home. The little Nissan Frontier towed it like a champ, I was very pleased.

I needed some winter rims, so I was lucky enough to locate some used Nissan Xterra 16" x 7" alloy rims through a good friend.
I painted them up with some Duplicolor Wheel paint, I think they turned out very well. Here is a pic of two of them.

I bought some new Blizzak DM-V2 winter tires in a 265/70R/16 size and had them installed.
Installed them on the Frontier today since they are calling for snow in the next few days.
