Installed a pair of Ichiba V2 15mm spacers in the rear just to push the wheels out a bit more than stock.

Today I weighed my 21"x 9.5" FX50 wheels and tires because a few people here said they were lightweight.

Well I was shocked :eek.: they are much heavier than I expected, the OEM Bridgestone Dueler A/S tires and rims weighed 73 lbs.

I then weighed my lightweight Enkei GTC01 Racing wheels which are 20"x 8.5" with Yokohoma Parada Spec X 265 tires on them, they weighed in at 59 lbs.

Now I am wondering if I want to keep the heavy 21s or use the lighter wheels..

Looking good Wayne:good:

73 lbs is indeed very heavy for a "lightweight" wheel and tire. Sell the 21's and get some 22's, they are about the same weight 74-78 lbs

Wow 73lbs, crazy. I love those wheels but IMO you can get some sick light weight 22's for a good price these days.

wow, 73lbs huh... that explains the 14-16mpg. :disapointed:

FIV-O-S looking great Wayne. :good:
Thanks Soon, and I just did a search and Lance posted on a wheel thread that Edmunds weighed the 21's and also got 73 lbs. They are a great looking wheel though and easy to take care of. Always loved them on your ride.

This is crazy, I am sitting on the deck, a very light rain is coming down, and I am enjoying a beer whilst admiring my new to me FX50, love those smoked headlights and trim, the pearl white and even the 21's are growing on me.
OUCH! A couple Mosquitos just bit me.
