I know you're loving that garage - I don't know how you went so long without it.
I like how you protect the floor. Don't even let the tires or jack rest on the concrete.

I'm hoping that when my little girl is a little older and can handle a few hours in the car that we can go up to Canada again. I know my wife has mentioned going back there again. We loved it when we went there a few years back 2012. We loved Toronto and all of Ontario when we drove to go to the Canadian side of the falls.
Let me know if you do come up, love to get together and meet your family. We have lots of nice spots around my area.

The contrast of the darker hyper black wheel looks great. You have got to go back to the drop Wayne, if only an 1"-1 1/2". Camber kit, yeah!
Thanks Lance and it's still the same problem with dropping it.

Pork, I know I put the garage off way too long. I sure do appreciate it now.
It's habit with the jack, always put something under it when I was using it on the uneven weak patio stones. As to the tires, I just put tire dressing on the tires, so I did't want to get it all over the floor. Pretty anal eh :rotfl:.

Well today I Installed my other two Enkei Racing wheels.

I have a brand new digital scale for weighing luggage which will weigh up to 100 lbs. So I decided to weigh the weights of the 21s and the 20s, wow, I know the 20s felt lighter but, what a difference, many people say the 21s are lightweight wheels, but that is wrong. Here are the weight comparisons.

Enkei 20" GTC01 Racing wheels with 265 Yokohama Parada Spec X tires..................... 58.9 lbs

Enkei 21" OEM FX50 wheels with 265 Bridgestone Dueler All Season tires....................72 lbs

I used a leather belt to wrap around the wheel and tires to weigh them so that minimal weight is included. Also the 21" tires only have a couple thousand miles on them and the 20" tires are about 75% worn. Still that is almost 13 lbs difference. Obviously I will not be running the 21's anymore, they will only go on the car when it comes time to sell it.

Jesus that's a huge unsprung weight savings! Thanks for that great information! Now you got me thinking also. My wheels are probably comparable in weight as well. Hmmm, this may expedite the case for new wheels! I love the look of your car with those Enkei's anyway! Nicely done.

Thanks Chris, I know you could really feel the weight difference. I was shocked. The 20s would be a touch heavier if the tires were newer.

wow what a difference! could it be the heavy bridgstone tires tho? either way tisk tisk are you even allowed to be lifting that amount of weight :P

That's what Karen said also. Up until 2 days ago I was not supposed to lift over 10 lbs. I saw my surgeon 2 days ago and he said all looked good after my hernia surgery and I could lift what I wanted as long as I was cautious and lifted properly.

according to tire rack the 21" tires weigh 37 lbs and the 20" tires weigh 36 lbs.

FYI - As a point of reference my 265/40/21 Continental cross contacts on the 21's weigh.....29 lbs.......lower profile, better torque (slightly) and the ride is sweet on the FX (like the Seahawks).

I remember that claim. I have three extra wheels laying around, I meant to check the 21 wheel weight earlier but I'll weigh one tomorrow.

Are 21s usually heavier? I wonder why Infiniti advertised the 21s are the weight of typical 18s then?
It all depends on the rim, the material, and manufacturing process.

Oh, and Congratulations Jonas.:congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::highfive::party1:

Well, after my FX50 has been sitting since December, I though I would disconnect the Battery Maintainer and start it up for the first time this Spring.
I jumped in the seat , hit the start button and presto, started right up and purred like a kitten.

I have not driven it since I put my lighter 20" Enkeis on it and I actually could feel a difference from my 21's. I like the GTC 01 Enkeis much better.
Nice to get it back on the road.

Here are a couple pics.

I was waiting for Karen at the Drug Store and had to take a pic of the reflection.
